Who I am Know More
I moved from India to the UK in 2012, bringing with me the values of hard work, integrity, and resilience that were instilled in me from an early age. Settling in London, a city celebrated for its diversity and vibrancy, I found a home that embraces people from all walks of life. From the moment I arrived, I was driven by a desire to contribute to my new community, immersing myself in activities and initiatives that empower individuals and foster connections. Over the years, I have grown as both a resident and a leader, dedicating my efforts to building bridges across communities, celebrating cultural diversity, and creating lasting, positive change. Today, as a proud Londoner, I am deeply committed to representing the city’s dynamic and diverse population while championing the values that make our city extraordinary.
A Commitment to Key Issues Facing Our Community
The City of London is a unique and vibrant hub, but like any thriving community, it faces challenges that require thoughtful, actionable solutions. My focus is on addressing these key issues to ensure a safer, more inclusive, and prosperous environment for everyone.
Cycling Safety and Public Space Management
The rise in cycling within the City has brought significant benefits, from promoting sustainable transport to reducing congestion. However, it has also highlighted the need for better public space management. I am committed to advocating for safer and more organised bicycle parking practices. This includes working to ensure that bicycles are parked responsibly, safeguarding pedestrians, particularly those with limited mobility. Public spaces must remain accessible and welcoming for all, balancing the needs of cyclists and pedestrians effectively.
