Point of Light Award (2024)
I was privileged to receive the Point of Light Award from the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom for my work in community development and social impact. This award is given to individuals who make an outstanding contribution to society, and I was recognised for my role in establishing the Bharat Cricket Community, which promotes physical and mental well-being among South Asian families. The initiative has grown from just a few members to over 1,000 families across London.
Mayor’s Felicitation, London Borough of Barking & Dagenham (2020)
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I worked on setting up a network of food banks to ensure that surplus food was redistributed to families in need.
