Issues I Care About
Service, Advocacy, and Systemic Change
My professional journey and voluntary work are grounded in a deep commitment to human dignity, social justice, and sustainable development. I believe in addressing not just symptoms, but the systems that drive inequality and marginalisation. Below are the causes I champion—each representing a piece of a more compassionate, resilient, and inclusive world.
Major issue that I solve
Everyone deserves a safe place to call home. Through my work with Rotary and civic forums, I actively support initiatives that provide shelter, resources, and long-term pathways out of homelessness. I advocate for housing solutions that address both immediate needs and systemic causes—including affordability, mental health, and access to support services.
Mental health is fundamental to individual and societal well-being. I am committed to breaking stigma, increasing access to support, and integrating mental wellness into community development. My work has included community outreach, event organisation, and promoting dialogue through public forums and partnerships.
Leprosy is preventable, treatable, and yet still stigmatised. I support awareness, early detection, and rehabilitation efforts through fundraising, advocacy, and partnerships—particularly in India. Our initiatives have funded critical treatment, vocational training, and public health outreach for affected individuals.
As a Rotarian, I am part of a global movement committed to ending polio for good. I support campaigns that raise funds, improve vaccine access, and enhance public education—ensuring no child is left behind. The fight against polio is not just about disease; it's about equity and access.
I believe in the power of enterprise as a force for good. By mentoring entrepreneurs, supporting awards programmes, and promoting capacity-building, I aim to nurture businesses that solve social problems, uplift communities, and create sustainable impact.
Volunteering transforms both communities and the individuals who serve. I am passionate about fostering a culture of service—whether through Rotary, civic awards, or grassroots initiatives. Recognising and supporting volunteers is key to building an active, engaged society.
Water is life. Through my leadership roles at the Ground Water & Mineral Investigation Consultancy Centre and the Institute of Water Conservation, I work to raise awareness, influence policy, and promote sustainable practices in water protection, harvesting, and education—across India and beyond.
Education is a foundation for dignity and opportunity. I support the development of Rotary Public School in Ladana, a rural initiative providing quality education to children who might otherwise be left behind. This project reflects my belief that every child deserves a future built on knowledge, values, and hope.
These issues are deeply personal to me. They’re not just causes—they are commitments. Through collaboration, systems thinking, and community engagement, I strive to make a meaningful difference where it’s needed most.
